This means that we as a hotel meet certain criteria in order to offer cyclists the best possible comfort on their tour. During your stay, you can store your bikes safely in a lockable bicycle garage. We are also happy to put you in touch with a nearby bicycle repair shop if you require one, and if you get a little wet on the way here, you can dry your equipment in a separate room.
Recommended cycle routes around Eisenach
The area around Eisenach offers cyclists a wide variety of picturesque cycle routes. Whether you want to visit historical sights, cycle through idyllic villages or discover the natural beauty of Thuringia, there is a route to suit every taste.
Thuringian city chain
The Thuringian City Chain, for example, connects seven of Thuringia's most beautiful cities over a length of 230 kilometres. The route is linked to the Germany-wide long-distance cycle path network and connects the cities of Eisenach and Altenburg.
Hercules-Wartburg cycle route
The Hercules-Wartburg Cycle Route connects two great landmarks of the UNESCO cultural heritage - the Hercules from Kassel and the Wartburg from Eisenach. In doing so, you cross the former inner-German border by bike.
Nessetal cycle path
To get from Eisenach to Erfurt in the state capital, the Nessetal cycle path is best suited. From Kindel airfield, the former railroad line leads through picturesque landscapes past small villages and colorful meadows through Gotha to the flower city of Erfurt.
